Group B Justin Rose is an auto-pick, based both on his play last week and his second-place finish at Kiawah in the 2003 WGC World Cup. S.C. native Dustin Johnson and Bubba both have the length to handle Kiawah easily. My fourth pick is Ernie Els. Also starting to talk myself into Furyk at 50-1. I know he has wasted two huge chances to win recently, but does that hide the fact he is in amazing form? and mature enough to not let the losses affect him if in position again? I dunno.
Alex: totally agree, I say this almost every week it seems but both Donald and Westwood are off limits when it comes to majors and even the 2nd tier of US Tour events such as Firestone etc. The bookies insist on keeping them as 2nd and 3rd favourites which is ridiculous.
Nah i m not anti-Padraig at all, i backed him in the Irish Open where i was convinced he would win, unknown Jamie Donaldson win..
