U2 need no introduction. The Irish supergroup have been around since 1976. 5 generations have been exposed to their music . Bono (on vocals), The Edge (on lead guitar), road conditions travel Adam Clayton (on bass) and Larry Mullen (on drums) are the members of the band. I must admit that I ve probably been listening to them since the late 1980s and I m definately one of their biggest South African fans. The Irish rockers will be touching down on African shores once again in February. U2 will be playing at FNB Stadium (formerly known as Soccer City) in Johannesburg on the 13th of February 2011 and at the Cape Town Stadium in the Mother road conditions travel City on the 18th of February 2011 . Tickets for the shows (which are expected to sell out quickly) are not available for sale yet, but they will become available on the 23rd of October via Computicket . Tickets in both cities will start at R161.00, with General Admission floor tickets will be available at R401.00 each. Reserved seat tickets are also available, starting from R428.00 in Cape Town and from R696.00 in Johannesburg . I would definately not mind going to the FNB Stadium show. Time to start saving road conditions travel for my ticket.
