Whenever I go to the Farmers Market I have to eat at a few different places. It's only right with so many options, right? Right?? Hmmm Anyway, after a hearty meal at Short Order , it was time for dessert. I had been wanting to try some of the food from The Gumbo Pot but since we only had room for a bite, I decided to grab an order of their original beignets. They also make chocolate ones, but I wanted to keep it as simple and traditional as possible. The beignets were okay but I've had better at Grand Lux Cafe. I would have enjoyed them more had I ordered some of their chicory coffee or chicory coffee au Lait (scalded st johns canada car rental milk) to go with it, but that stuff keeps me awake when I should be asleep. st johns canada car rental I saw other dishes coming out and they looked appetizing.
