Food Share of Lincoln County will benefit from the "Chefs Against Hunger" event April 4 at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The evening is hosted by Chefs Ryan Cornwall (Star Fish Grill and Laurie cheap hotels in los angeles Card ( Café Mundo). It features appetizers, samples of wine and micro-brew, free non-alcoholic beverages. Wine Beer will be for sale by the bottle or glass. Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased cheap hotels in los angeles online at www.foodsharelincolncounty.org, at the Newport Performing Arts Center, or the Food Share Office. Tickets are $40 each or two for $70.
" It's definitely an event rooted in the community," Cornwall said. "The first year we had 11 chefs and last year there were 20. We have issued invitations to more than 35 chefs and 6 wineries throughout Lincoln County and beyond." Participating restaurants and vintners include The Bay House, Flying Dutchman Winery, Shilo Inn, Local Ocean Seafoods, Chinook Winds, La Maison, The Wild Gourmet, Nana's Irish Pub, Savory Café, Café Stephanie, Tables of Content and Café Mundo. Agate Beach Inn is offering room discounts for visitors attending the event.
