One of the things aloha airlines employment that stuck with me as I read my email about winning my ride on the #PayItForwardExpress in NYC was the note that a hop on, hop off tour had the perk of getting to experience different tour guides along the way. Just in case you found yourself not loving the one you had.
I didn't have a lot of time to spend walking around anyway, so this was the perfect way to see a lot of NYC on a short budget of time. I took the Uptown Loop . It covered the Upper East, the Upper West, Harlem, Central Park, a bunch of museums on 5th Ave and Central Park among other things. Here's a sample of what I saw.
From points of interest on my tour to general information about NYC, my tour guide covered it all. He told us where famous people lived and died on the route as well as stories about points of interest around NYC that weren't even on this loop.
NYC is on my list of "must visit again" locations and a Grey Line New York bus tour will be on my list. Only next time I'm going to check out the Downtown Loop . Though, some of my friends said the Brooklyn Loop and Night Loop are not to be missed, so the multi day option could be my choice if it's in the budget.
