Johannesburg - Few days before the actual Nelson Mandela International Day, UNIC assisted with the participation of two Tanzanian students from the UN clubs to the Nelson Mandela debate in South Africa. The Nelson Mandela debate held n 14 th July was sponsored by the South African Airlines and the Nelson warner brothers studio tours Mandela centre of Memory (Mandela Foundation). A group 31 young people from various countries around the world between the ages of 13-18 were hosted to participate in a Youth dialogue.
The two identified by YUNA and UNIC's Reference Assistant were Miss Nuru Kessy from Benjamin William Mkapa Secondary school and Mr. Rahim Rajab from Azania Boys Secondary school. The dialogue which was held in Johannesburg at the Johannesburg Council chambers and it focused on the ideals of one of the most revered warner brothers studio tours Statesmen former President Nelson Mandela for a democratic and free society.
