Hello - can anyone recommend a place to rent a car for our two week trip to New Zealand? I'd like to keep the costs down, if possible. Also, do you need to have a 4-wheel drive to go through certain areas or is a standard automatic car enough?

We've rented from most companies in NZ, but APEX is the way we go these days. They rent both new and older model cars. You can save $$$ by renting an older car.
