Today, I referenced the $60 million high school football stadium that was built in the Dallas suburb of Allen. Not a typo! Taxpayers in Allen voted to fund the project in the midst of one of the biggest periods of education cuts our country has seen.
As we approach the dawn of another high school football season in El Paso, inevitably the chatter will be, why can t we compete with the rest of the state? We might have a punchers chance when we start green-lighting $60 million dollar stadiums.
