Good manners count. Even if some of the passengers are behaving like pigs at times, cabin crew have to keep the standards up. If they behave well, they get the support of other passengers who want badly-behaved passengers dealt with. If they show their passengers no respect, then they will get none back. That could be lethal if an emergency arose and passengers ignored instructions because they didn't accept the crew's authority.
a story of a friend of mine(I haven't fortunately flown this airline),an Indian himself. on his flight nearly half the passengers were the company's ground staff.sometimes,or regularly, they are being awarded free flights, and they always use the opportunities, regardless if they need or not.all of them were behaving as if they owned the plane, shouting, permanently requiring attention, drinks, food, etc. as for my observations those people never miss a chance to show and stress superiority if they get a slightest chance
new england clam chowder recipes from inns I doesn't surprise me. Stewards/esses used to be far better. But then the airlines cut the wages. Now you get what you pay for. Same as checkout employees, receptionists, customer service,..... oh, so many to list...pretty much anyone you have to deal with. Cutting costs and making profits causes this.
I HAVE FLOWN OVER 500 HOURS AS A PASSENGER AND I MUST SAY THAT THE CABIN CREW AND THE AIR CREW ARE FANTASTIC, BUT YOU HAVE GOT TO REMEMBER THAT THEY ARE HUMAN TOO. ALRIGHT SO ANY LEFT OVER MEALS ARE GOING TO BE THROWN AWAY AFTER THE PLANE LANDS, WHY CANNOT THE CREW EAT THEM, IT SEEMS A SHAME WHEN SO MANY PEOPLE IN THE WORLD ARE STARVING.
I dont think I would ever object to crew eating a meal whether I did or didnt know about it. These people are on duty for hours at a time and they too need sustenance. However I would object to loud and unruly behaviour a plane is not a playground
As an airline employee I can confirm it is quite normal for crew to eat left over passenger meals as they are often just thrown away. Some airlines provide meals for the crew however, they rarely taste nice and are often the same choices day in day out. However, I do agree that meals should be eaten discreetly, out of the sight of passengers and I do think that crew sometimes need reminding that the galley curtains new england clam chowder recipes from inns are not sound proof !!
