HOLLYWOOD, Fla. The Hollywood Police Athletic League (PAL) presents the 8 th annual "Heroes in Action", a night of boxing and mixed martial arts showcasing South Florida police officers and firefighters at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Casino. The event takes place on Friday, September 7 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 23 at noon.
The lively evening will host the best fighters, both male and female, from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county police and firefighter units. In all, a minimum of eight bouts will take place for what should prove to be an entertaining evening benefiting Hollywood PAL center and superior youth programs. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hollywood Police Athletic League. Heroes In Action Charity Event will be hosted by South Florida's very own WSVN 7 Sports Anchor Mike DiPasquale.

The Police Athletic League is a youth activities program run by Police air travel reservations Officers of the Hollywood Police Department and a volunteer Board of Directors for the purpose of preventing juvenile crime and drug use and provides positive role models for our youth. The PAL also works to develop discipline, self-esteem and positive moral values air travel reservations through wholesome competition and create better relations through communication between air travel reservations law enforcement officers and the youth of our community.
