Another dive to check out is Cueva Cala Llonga (The Cathedral). This is a cave that is a short ride




The island of Ibiza located in the Balearic archipelago off the coast of Spain is know for its vibrant nightlife , but it can also give you many opportunities to have fun on or under the water.A great opportunity for you to enjoy Ibiza´s waters is to try scuba diving. In Ibiza there are many dive sites that are suitable for beginners and advanced divers.
In 2007 a ship called the Don Pedro was accidently sunk and is now a well known dive site. The Don Pedro was a merchant site that is 140m long and was sunk when it hit a small island called Isla de Daus and is now 45m deep on the seabed. The Don Pedro is the largest ship wreck in the Mediterranean that is within the limits of recreational divers.
A diving site to check out for the experienced diver is called the La Plataforma (Fish Factory). La Plataforma is a former fish farming structure that was abandoned and then it sank. It is said to look like an oil platform with its large hexagonal structures and columns.
Another dive to check out is Cueva Cala Llonga (The Cathedral). This is a cave that is a short ride away from Cala Llonga. In this cave you will find that the cave is spacious enough for you to enter and that there is an air pocket that allows you to take off your mask and regulator. Inside air travel pregnancy you will find stalactites and other rock formations.
